Biography
Jonathan Posthuma is a recent graduate of Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA with a degree in Secondary Music Education: Choral/Instrumental and a minor in theatre. Jonathan studied composition with Dr. Luke Dahn, Northwestern College, Orange City, IA and has presented two full recitals of his music at Dordt College. He is currently student teaching and applying to graduate school for composition.
His style is eclectic and draws inspiration from many composers and innovators. His highly lyrical music involves both an appreciation for the traditions of the past and the interpretation found in the present.

This site was created to be temporary storage for the music of Jonathan Posthuma. Hopefully, he will someday create a much nicer website, but for now, he will have to settle for this. Feel free to download and enjoy his music and scores, but if you'd like to perform something, please contact Jonathan to work out a performance agreement. Jonathan Posthuma is a member of BMI.
